How to
Here is an explanation of how to use your Roller Release.
The 2 different series of rollers, and where they are fastened, were designed for the many clearance issues in all various guns.
K Series rollers are for guns that have a lot of clearance inside the receiver, such as the Krieghoff K-80 or M-32. The Beretta 680 style. The Perazzi S.B.T. and the Browning BT-100
P series rollers, which are smaller in diameter, and thickness, are for guns with very tight restrictions. Such as the Perazzi O/U Pullout flat spring model or the Non Pullout coil spring Perazzi models. And the Browning O/U Citori style guns.
There are presently only 2 roller release models that can be switched Back and Forth from release to pull by simply removing the roller. The Perazzi S.B.T. and the Beretta 680 style. All other models require the release plates to be removed, to gain access to the roller.
Here is an example of a K-80 release hook, and roller. This model requires removal of the release plate itself to unfasten the roller. All that is needed to remove the roller is a standard straight blade screwdriver.

Here is an example of a Beretta 682 release. On the Beretta model, just removing the roller deactivates the release, allowing the pull trigger to operate. Again only a standard straight blade screwdriver is all that is needed to remove or change the roller.
The larger diameter rollers provide more engagement between the release and the hammer, making it feel slower with a little creep in the let off.
Smaller diameter rollers have less engagement, making it feel faster with a crisp let off, and no creep.
